Meet Dr. Jess

Helping Women with ADHD find calm, focus, and confidence through science, compassion, and community.

My Journey to Mindful Mountains Coaching

For years, I worked as an occupational therapist supporting families and professionals, helping them understand how the brain and body work together. Along the way, I met countless women who were struggling silently with ADHD, feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, and exhausted from trying to keep up.

I realized that what they needed wasn’t just more strategies, but a space to feel seen, supported, and guided with compassion. That’s how Mindful Mountains was born — a place where women can learn to work with their brains, not against them, and finally find calm and confidence in their everyday lives.

The Mindful Mountains Approach

Everything I teach is grounded in neuroscience, occupational therapy, and trauma-informed care. But more than that, it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore what truly works for you.

Through my programs, you’ll learn practical tools to manage focus, energy, and emotions, while building self-trust and confidence along the way.

Professional Background

With nearly two decades as a licensed Occupational Therapist, I bring both clinical knowledge and lived experience to my coaching practice. I hold a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and am a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, with additional training in Mental Health First Aid.

My career has taken me from pediatric care to school systems to inpatient behavioral health. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how ADHD intersects with trauma, identity, and everyday life.

Today, I also serve as faculty at Montana State University, where I have the privilege of teaching and mentoring future occupational therapists. Staying connected to research and education keeps me grounded in both the science and the soul of this work.

A Little More About Me

Because laughter and self-compassion go hand in hand.

When I’m not supporting women through Mindful Mountains, you’ll usually find me outdoors, recharging in nature, or curled up with a cup of tea and a good audiobook. I believe that healing and growth don’t have to be heavy — sometimes, they start with a deep breath, a good laugh, and a reminder that you’re doing your best.

Audiobook addict (yes, I always have at least three going at once)

Swears by sticky notes, fidget rings, and instrumental playlists for focus

Has a serious weakness for beautiful planners she rarely writes in

Water bottle enthusiast who speaks fluent mountain metaphor

Once tried “five-minute meditation” and woke up an hour later — still counts!

Ready to Begin Your Ascent?
